8K a year 4 days ago 4 days ago 4 days ago The Food and Beverage Manager develops short-term and long-term financial and operational plans for the Food and Beverage Department at Bay Point Resort and Marina, located in Marblehead, Ohio.
Our Food and Beverage Manager should have a strong knowledge of the restaurant industry along with a passion for customer satisfaction.
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Your job will include:
Responsible for the operation of the Food and Beverage department.
Analyze the Food and Beverage Department's performance to ensure product and service quality standards.
Manage Food and Beverage operations within budget Develop new programs to increase customer satisfaction and drive operational excellence.
Support the company's safety training and security standards to ensure the safety of customers and team members.
Partner with General Manager and Restaurant Manager to implement preventative maintenance programs that protect the restaurant's physical assets.
Hire and train Food and Beverage employees.
Develop and maintain relationships with members, vendors, and contractors.
Implement sales and marketing programs to drive business to the restaurant and other food outlets including bars.
Establish and maintain a strong, coordinated human resources function that ensures employee motivation, training and development, wage and benefits administration, and compliance with labor regulations.
Ensure all food safety guidelines are adhered to.
Experience & skills you'll need:
High school diploma, or the equivalent.
Bachelor's degree preferred.

years of experience in the food and beverage industry, preferably in a luxury resort or hotel setting.

years of experience in a management role.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience using a POS system.
Exceptional customer service skills, including excellent telephone etiquette.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
The ability to work on weekends, nights, and/or holidays based on business demands is a must.
